About The Position

We are seeking a Global Head of End‑to‑End Packaging to take full ownership of packaging - from idea to manufacture and onto shelf. This is a highly visible enterprise leadership role, accountable for shaping breakthrough packaging innovation, elevating consumer experience, and unlocking value at scale across a multi‑category portfolio. The role is accountable to both R&D and Supply Chain to drive end-to-end scale and reports jointly into the Chief Supply Chain Officer and the Chief R&D Officer. From early development through to commercialisation, the Head of E2E Packaging will ensure packaging solutions are innovative, efficient, sustainable, and deliver outstanding quality and in‑use experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related technical engineering discipline preferred.
  • 12-15+ years leading R&D, engineering, or packaging functions in consumer products, health, beauty, or adjacent industries.
  • Proven success building and leading unified global organisations across geographies and cultures with a focus on Consumer First.
  • Track record of delivering significant value creation (including COGS savings and productivity gains) and stewarding large‑scale CAPEX programmes.
  • Deep expertise in packaging development, process scale‑up, commercialisation, and technical risk management.
  • Demonstrated leadership of packaging sustainability initiatives with measurable impact.
  • Strong people leadership experience, typically managing 8-10+ senior professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise packaging innovation leadership
  • Build and commercialise a multi‑year, multi‑category packaging innovation pipeline by establishing technical platforms, new materials, delivery forms and robust scale‑up processes that accelerate speed to market and increase innovation impact.
  • Deliver superior packaging experiences
  • Create winning packaging solutions that excel in‑use, stand out on shelf and in‑home, and outperform competition—while leveraging global platforms and engines to drive scale and cost advantage.
  • Operating unit delivery & value creation
  • Lead packaging execution across operating units in close partnership with manufacturing plants, enabling commercial innovation, price/pack architecture, simplification, COGS savings, business continuity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Create and scale innovation & capability platforms
  • Develop differentiated packaging platforms and advanced testing capabilities, including predictive modelling, to ensure product/package stability, consumer‑relevant specifications, and quality at scale.
  • Packaging sustainability leadership
  • Define and deliver packaging sustainability strategies and action plans that advance enterprise commitments while maintaining performance and supply resilience.
  • Enterprise collaboration & interdependencies
  • Lead across critical packaging interdependencies—including Design, Artwork, Categories, Operating Units, Engineering, Procurement and Quality—to ensure robust, integrated end‑to‑end packaging solutions.
  • Leadership & stakeholder engagement
  • Proactively identify and mitigate operational, environmental, and safety risks through robust governance, audits, and capability building.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across Supply Chain, R&D, and site leadership to align packaging strategy with enterprise priorities.
  • Build a strong talent bench and succession pipeline; foster a high‑engagement culture and develop external partnerships with suppliers, universities, and technology partners.
