Our team in Corporate Group is looking for a Global Environmental and Emergency Planning Manager to join them. In this role, you will develop and maintain Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies to ensure compliance with regulations globally, conduct site inspections to identify hazards, and provide training to employees and contractors. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into projects, with a particular focus on emergency response. Additionally, you'll monitor performance metrics and stay updated on industry best practices to continuously improve EHS programs. You will have a hybrid work schedule in East Aurora, NY.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations on a global scale.
  • Help sites implement Emergency Response Plans
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Provide EHS training and support to employees and contractors to promote a culture of safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into project planning and execution.
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and recommend improvements.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure continuous improvement of EHS programs.
  • Support domestic and international business travel, up to 20%.
  • Typically, a bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • An understanding of international EHS regulations with extensive knowledge of the National Response Framework
  • Significant experience in conducting internal and external audits.
  • Proven ability to assess and develop comprehensive Corporate EHS policies for organization-wide implementation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in fostering collaboration across diverse, multicultural, and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CHMM, HAZWOPER) are advantageous.
