About The Position

What you will be doing: Serve as the primary global advisor on complex talent, culture, and workforce matters. Develop and execute a global talent advisory strategy supporting the Firm’s growth, risk mitigation, and operational excellence, ensuring global standards. Use HR analytics to identify trends and provide executive-ready insights. Lead global performance management processes. Lead the global employee relations (ER) function, ensuring consistent, fair, and timely handling of workplace issues. Build and maintain ER frameworks and monitor global ER trends to proactively identify opportunities to improve workplace engagement. Oversee all workplace investigations in a timely and neutral manner and ensure global investigation protocols are in place that meet legal and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions. Design, harmonize, maintain, and communicate global people and talent advisory policies, playbooks, and protocols by partnering with Legal, Compliance, and regional teams; ensuring policies are current, compliant, and reflective of best practices across the U.S., U.K., Europe, and Asia. Ensure adherence to employment laws, regulatory requirements, and industry standards across all operating regions. Conduct audits of processes, documentation, and compliance controls. Advise leadership on regulatory changes and their impact on the business. Partner with Talent Development to develop and implement global compliance training programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10-15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with global employee relations and compliance exposure.
  • Experience in a large law firm or professional services environment, with specialized knowledge of multiple HR disciplines.
  • 10+ years in a management-level role, including supervisory experience.
  • Deep knowledge of employment laws and HR practices in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and the U.K.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and concisely and adjust tone appropriately – additional language skills are useful.
  • Excellent technical skills in MS Office, particularly in Excel; knowledge of Workday HRIS and ability to learn and adapt to new systems as required.
