The Global Digital Operations Software Engineer for Beckman Coulter is responsible for developing, validating, implementing, and supporting a variety of complex multi-site/multi-geography software tools used to digitize & automate medical device manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for responsible for all global digital solutions used to support instrument operations in North America, Asia Pacific, and the EU. This position reports to the Director of Engineering for Global Systems and Digital Operations and is part of the Global Digital Operations Team, and will be based in Chaska, MN. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Design, develop, and support innovative software solutions that automate and digitize medical device manufacturing across global regions (NA, APAC, Europe). Build and maintain .NET desktop applications (VB & C#) to deliver work instructions, capture production data, visualize WIP, and digitize device history records. Develop and manage backend MS SQL Server databases that store production data and support future AI integrations. Validate, release, and document non‑product software solutions, including technical design and system architecture. Partner with global operations teams as a technical lead to localize applications, gather user feedback, and drive continuous improvement of deployed digital systems.
