About The Position

Kyowa Kirin is a fast-growing global specialty pharmaceutical company that applies state-of-the-art biotechnologies to discover and deliver novel medicines in four disease areas: bone and mineral; intractable hematologic; hematology oncology; and rare disease. A Japan-based company, our goal is to translate science into smiles by delivering therapies where no adequate treatments currently exist, working from drug discovery to product development and commercialization. In North America, we are headquartered in Princeton, NJ, with offices in California, North Carolina, and Mississauga, Ontario. We are currently seeking an intern to join our Global Development Project Management team to support global development project management processes. As a Global Project Management Excellence intern, you will work closely with numerous functions across the Global Development Organization in the area of development project management. This position is a paid, temporary internship eligible to rising juniors, and rising seniors, within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ. This role is a hybrid role with in-office time of approximately two (2) days/week preferred. (will change based on job function)

Requirements

  • This position requires candidates to be a rising junior, rising senior in college/university pursuing a career in Finance, Business or similar
  • Candidates are required to live within a commutable distance of Princeton, NJ.
  • Interns are required to be able to work from May 26th - August 19th
  • This position requires a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • The ability to work a hybrid schedule is required
  • Major in a target area related to this role is required (e.g. Business, Finance/Accounting, Computer Science/Data Analysis)
  • Proper Work Authorization required as we're unable to sponsor at this time

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship or co-op experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Global Project Management team and other core functions on assigned tasks.
  • Support on-going efforts to improve and manage development project management tools, analytics, or reports across our project pipeline.
  • Analysis of historical KK development metrics (time, cost, etc) across various sources, through development of reports or dashboards based on the needs of an end user, through prototyping, refinement, and deployment.
  • Researching sources of industry standards, if applicable.
  • Present progress to stakeholders in both formal and informal settings.
