About The Position

The Global Chief Marketing Officer will define and lead Sodali’s global marketing strategy, brand positioning, client and referral source engagement initiatives, and market growth initiatives across regions and practices. This leader will drive brand visibility, strengthen market reputation, and enable revenue growth through data-driven marketing, thought leadership, client insights, and digital excellence. They will partner closely with the Chief Client Officer, Chief Partnership Officer, and practice leadership to ensure the firm’s marketing agenda supports strategic priorities.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of senior marketing leadership experience, preferably in a professional services, strategic communications, consulting, or advisory environment.
  • Proven success in developing and executing global, integratedmarketing strategies.
  • Strong experience partnering with advisoryand executive leadership teams.
  • Track recordof leading organizations through change, transformation,and/or scale.
  • Strategic,creative,and commercially minded with a strong bias for execution.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; credible and influential at theexecutive level.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments where priorities may shift.
  • Proactive, self-starter, comfortableworking in a flat organization.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally asrequired.

  • Develop and execute an integratedglobal marketing strategy thatdifferentiates Sodali andstrengthensour position in the market
  • Partner closely withexecutiveleadershipandpracticeleaders toensure marketing strategy supportsgrowthobjectives, client priorities, andfirm/practicepositioning
  • Shape and evolveSodali’sbrand to ensure consistency, clarity, andrelevanceacross all markets
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologiesin marketing and among our competitors
  • Lead development of thought leadership platforms,conveningstrategy,signature campaigns, and flagship content programs
  • Develop signatureconveninginitiatives that can be replicated across practices and marketscoupled with 360-degree strategies to drivepositioning among existing and potential clients and referral sources
  • Work closely with practitioners to develop an editorial calendarof thought leadership activities
  • Develop innovative360-degreeamplification strategies to maximize impact of thought leadership activitiesby targeting clients, potential clients,and referral sources
  • Identifyconferences, sponsorships,conveningopportunities,andother high-valuemarketing and thought leadership initiativesto supportstrategic priorities
  • Buildconvening strategies, thought leadership andmarketing programs that support priority sectorsand strategic offerings
  • Oversee all aspects of visual identity,includingbrand guidelines,templates, firm collateral, etc.
  • Oversee all aspects of digital presence, including the global website, SEO/SEM strategy, digital campaigns, analytics, and marketing technology infrastructure
  • Oversee capabilities decks, one-pagersand overall marketing collateral excellence
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a global marketingteam;foster collaboration across practices and geographies
  • Establish data-driven measurement frameworks to track marketing performance, conversion metrics, and ROI
  • Manage marketing budget, vendor relationships, and agency partnerships
