About The Position

Gems Setra is seeking a Global Catalog House Account Manager to drive sales strategy and growth through our key catalog house partners, with a primary focus in North America and EMEA, and supporting role with Gems Setra sales teams in APAC. This role will be responsible for account management of these partners, ensuring a deep understanding of each owned account and the keys to growth with the accounts. The right candidate will enhance customer relationships and partner with them to promote, sell, and support Gems Setra products. Internally, this role will work closely with Product Management and Marketing to set the ideal strategy optimizing products sold at each catalog house account.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 10 years relevant B2B sales experience.
  • 5+ years distribution support experience, with record of year-over-year sales growth.
  • 5+ year's experience selling technical and industrial products, with a preference for instrumentation and/or control products across multiple verticals.
  • Travel: Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally (once or twice a year) by all forms of transportation up to 40% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a business plan to increase market share at each account through product placement, co-marketing campaigns, stocking agreements, and digital optimization.
  • Work with each region’s sales leader and all product managers to optimize product/market/account fit at all owned accounts to drive growth.
  • Work with marketing and IT to advance catalog house account capabilities to set up product data syndication at each owned account.
  • Own sales forecast and funnel management to drive year-over-year growth to required key performance indicators.
  • Educate and train partners on the product portfolio and other general information of interest to distributors and customers.
  • Facilitate monthly and quarterly account reviews, recommending improvements and developing mutual performance objectives. Manage each catalog house account’s vendor scorecard, collaborating with partner contacts to optimize improvement areas.
  • Partner with catalog house accounts to execute and identify strategy, proposals, orders, supply and price trends, inventory control, delivery dates, revenue forecasts, and other details of the sale.
  • Highly motivated to drive actions focused on unlocking growth, cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, and relationship building.
