About The Position

Are you a self-starter, a go-getter and a dealmaker with a drive to win? We are looking for an experienced Global Business Development Manager to drive significant sales growth for our Dynacast division. Dynacast, a subsidiary of Form Technologies headquartered in Charlotte, NC, is a global manufacturer of die cast metal components serving markets such as automotive, healthcare, consumer electronics, medical devices, and other high growth industries. The company operates 23 manufacturing facilities across 16 countries. Dynacast produces high-precision metal components by leveraging innovative technology, unmatched engineering expertise, and the most precise die casting capabilities in the world. The company partners with customers by identifying opportunities to redesign or consolidate products and assemblies through die casting using aluminum, magnesium and zinc. The Form Technologies portfolio also includes Signicast (investment casting) and OptiMIM (metal injection molding), making it a global leader in metal manufacturing. Position Summary The Global Business Development Manager (GBDM) reports to the VP of Global Sales and works closely with plant engineering teams to drive new business growth. This role focuses on winning new customers, expanding high-growth opportunities within existing accounts, and supporting large global OEMs across multiple regions. It is highly hunter‑oriented and focused on complex, high-volume opportunities-particularly within the data center and high‑tech markets. The primary geographic focus is Asia Pacific, but there will be contributions across Dynacast's global manufacturing network and significant global travel. The GBDM owns the identification, development, and execution of new solutions using Dynacast's products and services, builds senior level customer relationships, and ensures customer satisfaction across quality, delivery, and commercial performance. This role will be focused on large global accounts – typically Top 20 sales customers with multiple international locations, primarily in high-tech, high-volume industries. In particular we are looking for someone with data center expertise as that will be a large focus for this role. This is a home-based role with significant interaction across global time zones. We are ideally looking for someone based in the Bay area. The compensation package will include a base pay plus a generous commission plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other related field. BSME is preferred.
  • 10+ years of technical B2B sales experience, in engineered or precision manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work with Engineering Program Managers, Global Sourcing Managers and R&D engineers to understand customer requirements, promote the sale of company products, and provide sales support.
  • Excellent technical presentation, negotiation, and proposal development skills
  • Experience selling to high-volume OEM's preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in High Pressure Die Casting, Injection Molding, or Thixomolding
  • Data center or high‑tech hardware sales experience, including supply chain and manufacturing exposure
  • Experience working with hyperscalers and major technology companies (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Broadcom, Western Digital, SanDisk, Intel, Solidigm, Dell, HPE, Cisco, Supermicro, Quanta, Apple, Foxconn, and Juniper).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic growth plans for assigned global accounts.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new RFQ opportunities through proactive customer outreach.
  • Expand Dynacast's customer base by targeting high-volume OEMs and high-growth divisions of existing customers.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with key executives (Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing.).
  • Must be well versed in all aspects of Dynacast's Value Messaging system and continuously educate our customers.
  • Effectively measure, screen, and evaluate new opportunities from all angles (engineering, manufacturing, etc.).
