Global Benefits South Region Leader This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from either our Houston or Dallas, TX office. What the day will look like Reporting to the Global Benefits (GB) North America Leader, this is a great career opportunity that offers diversified leadership, project and client exposure. Manage and develop a team of experienced consultants. Help to train and mentor junior team members on their development and understanding of GB and consulting skills. Help to shape the business strategy and growth of the North America market. Responsible for new business development including expansion of existing business and new business with clients and prospects. Lead large client relationships and complex projects including: guide end-to-end project delivery, fee setting, revenue projections, key deliverables, and provide technical expertise. Help multinational clients solve and manage multifaceted benefits issues by providing international consulting support in areas including GB strategy, benefit audit, benchmarking, global brokerage, non-US insured benefit, global wellbeing, M&A, governance, risk management, etc. Lead financial and strategic client discussions and identify potential additional work and/or out of scope services requested by clients. Use of concrete and thorough understanding of GB to take a leadership role that helps advance/enhance intellectual capital. Aon United – partner with all Aon solution lines resources to promote GB and develop new business. Keep informed on market activities and look for innovations to enhance our offerings and educate our clients.

Requirements

  • Priority will be given to candidates with a minimum of 10 plus years of international or non‐US benefits experience in an HR consulting firm or professional services firm.
  • Direct experience on managing a team of experienced consultants.
  • Demonstrated consultative skills to effectively work in a cohesive team environment as well as the ability to communicate with a variety of internal and external parties.
  • Strong management and analytical ability, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in the global environment, other cultures, and language.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline or equivalent years of industry experience.

  • Advanced degree or project management certification is preferred.
