Position Summary The Benefit Analyst supports the Global Solutions Team by coordinating renewal activity, organizing and analyzing proposal data, and maintaining accurate tracking and documentation across all client and prospect work. This role is highly detail-oriented and process-driven, ensuring all renewals, quotes, and supporting materials are accurately compiled, spreadsheeted, and organized for internal review and client presentation. The analyst will play a critical role in maintaining workflow efficiency, supporting presentations, and ensuring consistent documentation within SharePoint and internal tracking tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and SharePoint required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Renewal Tracking and Coordination Track all global and domestic client renewals using a centralized tracker.
  • Monitor renewal timelines and follow up with carriers and internal team members to ensure timely receipt of renewal terms.
  • Maintain accurate status updates for each renewal, including receipt of proposals, spreadsheet completion, and presentation readiness.
  • Communicate regularly with the Global Solutions Team regarding renewal status and outstanding items.
  • Proposal and Quote Analysis Compile and organize renewal and prospective carrier proposals upon receipt.
  • Spreadsheet renewal and prospect quote data in Excel using standardized templates.
  • Ensure all pricing, plan design details, and key provisions are accurately reflected and reconciled.
  • Maintain version control and ensure consistency across all spreadsheet analyses.
  • Presentation Development Support Mark and label carrier exhibits and supporting documentation for internal and client presentations.
  • Incorporate spreadsheeted renewal and quote data into initial draft renewal PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ensure exhibits and financial comparisons align with spreadsheeted data and proposal summaries.
  • Prepare organized presentation-ready materials for review by the Manager, Global Solutions Team and senior team members.
  • Workflow and Activity Tracking Maintain a daily tracker outlining active assignments, renewal status, spreadsheeting progress, and outstanding tasks.
  • Provide regular updates to the Manager, Global Benefits on workload, timelines, and project status.
  • Support prioritization of assignments based on renewal deadlines and team needs.
  • File Management and Organization Organize and maintain all renewal and prospect files within SharePoint in accordance with team standards.
  • Ensure consistent naming conventions, version control, and proper folder placement for all documents.
  • Archive completed projects and maintain clean, accessible file structures for team use.
  • Billing and Eligibility Audit Responsibilities Conduct billing and eligibility audits on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis in accordance with each client’s agreed audit schedule.
  • Utilize carrier eligibility files, Employee Navigator eligibility reports, and carrier invoices to validate accuracy of enrolled members and billed premiums.
  • Reconcile eligibility data across systems to identify discrepancies including missing enrollments, terminations, dependent changes, and coverage tier inconsistencies.
  • Compare carrier invoices against enrollment data and rate structures to confirm billing accuracy and alignment with contractual terms.
  • Document and track discrepancies, including overbilling, underbilling, or eligibility errors, and prepare summary findings for review.
  • Coordinate with internal account management teams and carriers to resolve identified issues and secure corrected invoices or eligibility updates.
  • Maintain organized audit workpapers and documentation within SharePoint for each client and audit cycle.
  • Provide periodic reporting to the Manager, Global Benefits on audit status, findings, and resolution progress.
  • Continuously update audit trackers to reflect completed reviews, outstanding discrepancies, and resolution timelines.
