About The Position

The Global Asset Optimization Services Product Manager is responsible for developing, launching, and executing global asset optimization programs that extend asset life, improve availability, and maximize customer value across Vertiv’s installed base. This role owns both new program creation and expansion of existing asset optimization services, with accountability for global scalability, operational execution, and commercial performance. The role leads cross‑functional efforts to design and deploy programs such as refurbishment services, asset exchange programs, global and regional fulfillment models, and spare parts configuration frameworks, working closely with Regional Services, Supply Chain, Operations, Product Management, and Digital teams. This position is highly execution‑oriented, combining portfolio strategy, program launch, and operational enablement to ensure asset optimization services are repeatable, profitable, and globally deployable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business
  • 7–12+ years experience in:
  • Services product management
  • Asset lifecycle management
  • Operations or supply chain‑enabled service programs
  • Experience launching and scaling global service programs
  • Strong execution and cross‑functional leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Global Asset Optimization Program Strategy
  • Define and own the global asset optimization services roadmap, including new program development and expansion of existing offerings
  • Identify opportunities to extend asset life, reduce downtime, and lower total cost of ownership for customers
  • Translate installed base insights into scalable, standardized asset optimization programs
  • New Program Development & Global Launch
  • Lead the end‑to-end development and launch of new asset optimization services, including:
  • Refurbishment and remanufacturing programs
  • Asset exchange and swap programs
  • Upgrade and modernization services
  • Conduct market, customer, and competitive research to shape program design
  • Define program scope, eligibility criteria, and value propositions
  • Own global launch planning, pilot execution, and rollout enablement
  • Commercialization & Value Pricing
  • Define value‑based pricing methodologies for asset optimization services
  • Establish pricing frameworks aligned with lifecycle value, availability improvement, and customer risk reduction
  • Partner with Sales and Finance to set margin targets and commercial guardrails
  • Support sales enablement with clear value messaging and program positioning
  • Global Deployment & Regional Adoption
  • Coordinate with regional services organizations to deploy asset optimization programs globally
  • Develop and maintain:
  • Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Program execution playbooks
  • Enable regions with training, documentation, and launch support
  • Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
  • Track program performance including:
  • Adoption rates
  • Revenue and margin realization
  • Cycle time and fulfillment efficiency
  • Use data and field feedback to continuously refine and expand asset optimization offerings
  • Drive standardization, simplification, and scalability across the portfolio
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with:
