About The Position

At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Global Account Specilalist to join the Data, Power and Control team remotely. The Global Account Specialist plays a critical role in supporting and growing strategic global customer relationships within Legrand’s Data, Power, and Control (DPC) organization. This role partners closely with Global Account Managers and cross‑functional teams to ensure customers receive consistent, high‑quality service and solutions aligned with their business goals.This position is well‑suited for a professional who enjoys collaboration, problem‑solving, and building trusted relationships while working in a technically complex environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required with equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years experiencing providing advanced support sales or inside sales experience in information technology industry, data center industry experience preferred.
  • Relevant experience supporting customers, accounts, or sales operations in a technical, industrial, or B2B environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally and communicating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Comfort working with data, systems, and business tools such as CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University with emphasis in Business, or related field, preferred
  • Experience in the data center, power, controls, or information technology industries.
  • Account management, sales operations, or customer success experience with large or global customers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical or complex information clearly.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Interest in learning and developing expertise in technical products and customer solutions.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting colleagues in a team‑based environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Global Account Managers to support revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term account strategies.
  • Serve as a key point of coordination across operations, product management, sales, and leadership to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Maintain strong relationships with global customers by proactively communicating, tracking orders, and resolving questions or challenges.
  • Support account planning activities such as forecasting, quarterly business reviews, and performance reporting.
  • Translate customer needs into actionable insights for internal teams to help improve products, processes, and service delivery.
  • Use Salesforce CRM to track account activity, opportunities, and customer interactions.
  • Contribute to mentoring and knowledge‑sharing within the sales support community.
  • Travel up to once per month to support in‑person customer or internal meetings.
