Position Summary Berlitz is seeking a results-driven Global Account Manager to grow and manage a portfolio of Fortune 500 accounts across the United States and globally. This role is responsible for building senior-level client relationships, identifying strategic growth opportunities, and delivering enterprise language, cultural, and business communication solutions that align with client priorities. The ideal candidate has a strong background in enterprise account management, complex B2B solution selling, and global stakeholder management. This person will act as a trusted advisor to large corporate clients and work cross-functionally to drive revenue growth, retention, and client satisfaction across key strategic accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, International Business, Education, or related field.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in global account management, enterprise sales, or strategic account leadership.
  • Proven success managing and growing Fortune 500 or large enterprise accounts in the US market.
  • Experience selling consultative solutions in corporate learning, talent development, business services, HR services, SaaS, or professional services environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals across large organizations.
  • Strong executive presence, negotiation skills, and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work across time zones and cultures in a global environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and account planning tools.
  • Ability to travel within the United States and internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and expand a portfolio of strategic Fortune 500 accounts headquartered in or operating across the United States.
  • Develop and execute global account plans aligned with client business goals, learning strategies, and international workforce priorities.
  • Build a deep understanding of each client’s structure, business objectives, procurement processes, and talent development needs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including HR, Learning & Development, Talent Management, Procurement, and business leaders.
  • Identify, develop, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities across Berlitz’s language training, coaching, assessment, and intercultural solutions.
  • Expand enterprise partnerships across regions, departments, and business units.
  • Lead contract renewals and commercial negotiations to maximize client retention and long-term account value.
  • Support RFPs, enterprise proposals, and multi-country solution strategies for large, complex accounts.
  • Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Position Berlitz as a value-driven partner by connecting solutions to measurable business outcomes such as employee development, leadership readiness, global collaboration, and market expansion.
  • Conduct business reviews and executive meetings to evaluate performance, strengthen relationships, and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Navigate complex, matrixed organizations and engage multiple decision-makers across functions and geographies.
  • Partner with operations, customer success, finance, marketing, and regional delivery teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Coordinate internal resources across the US and global teams to support successful implementation and service delivery.
  • Advocate for client needs internally while balancing operational feasibility and commercial goals.
  • Help shape tailored solutions for high-value enterprise clients.
  • Own revenue, retention, and growth targets for assigned Fortune 500 accounts.
  • Maintain strong pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and account planning discipline.
  • Track account performance, customer satisfaction, renewal timelines, and growth opportunities in CRM tools.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and client feedback to inform account strategy.
