In order to ensure prompt customer acceptance and satisfaction the Installation Support Program Manager (ISPM) collaborates across various teams for specific installations that meet approved criteria. This is accomplished by proactively identifying components with higher failure rates and providing extra onsite support by shipping additional units. Overall, the ISPM manages the Buffer, Acceptance, and Initial Spares by coordinating with appropriate contacts to obtain line of sight to project installations and coordinating execution to the spare’s strategies.

Requirements

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
  • Typically 10+ years of experience in a supply chain function.
  • Experience in more than one supply chain function.
  • Broker's license and/or 10+ years of experience in a customs/global trade function.
  • Advanced understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver).
  • Identifies and creates superior analytical tools, models and methods for making key business decisions.
  • Advanced communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Advanced internal and external relationship management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of how to analyze business problems using Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Superior project management skills, with capability to manage cross functional teams in multiple geographies that impact the organization.
  • Superior business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
  • Extensive Understanding of the company's overall business strategy.
  • Advanced understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ATP, master scheduling and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
  • Advanced understanding of national and international trade requirements to align customs/trade function with business objectives.
  • Advanced knowledge of inventory modeling and analysis.
  • Excellent leadership skills including team-building and conflict resolution and management.
  • Advanced understanding in developing and managing a trade compliance program.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Deployment Project Manager (DPM) to identify installations that will require parts on or near customer site to support installation.
  • Generate a draft of parts, which will be approved by DPM, required on or near customer site by pinpointing critical components with higher failure rates.
  • Track financial investment and ensure we are within the approved budget.
  • Engage planning team to execute the Acceptance and Initial spares phase activities.
  • Confirm installation date and location strategy that best aligns to customer needs.
  • Elevate and work to find solutions to any potential roadblock that may impact installation acceptance date and elevate when appropriate to upper management.
  • Provide weekly status reports to key stakeholders of all installations being supported.
  • Keep track of any lessons learned and provide a feedback loop for the process.
