Requirements

• OSHA 10 hr. Certified structural welder.
• Ability to operate telescope forklifts
• HS diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read installation assembly drawings.
• Have a valid driver’s license
• Applicants must be able to walk and stand on feet for extended period of time, lift, push and pull up to 75 lbs., crawl on hands and knees, climb a ladder and be able to work for long hours

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand company safety policies and procedures and enforce compliance
• Ensure equipment is safe and reliable in order to reduce equipment downtime and ensure schedules are met
• Demonstrate ambition to develop personal skills for further advancement
• Connect rigging to hoist assemblies in place
• Unload assemblies
• Operate tools such as grinders, saws and drills
• Install bolted connections
• Communicate with Foreman on daily tasks
• Measure and layout work
• Assemble components per assembly drawings
• Direct equipment operators including crane operators
• Operate telescoping forklift
