About The Position
Work includes assignment set up of glass lathe and cleaning of equipment daily. Works from blueprints and routers to perform production tasks, which includes the cutting and shaping of glass to specific dimensions. Checks and inspects operations against specified tolerances with certain tools. May identify and repair minor machine malfunctions.
Requirements
- High School Degree or equivalent
- 2 years of related experience
- Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Above-average agility and dexterity with the ability to hold, grasp and manipulate small parts and use hand and power tools frequently.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) handle long periods of sitting.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SAP/MES or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
- Familiar with 6S.
