About The Position

The Glass Production Associate will work in a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant that produces coated and tempered residential glass. This role involves operating machines in a production environment, with responsibilities including offloading or loading glass onto the production line. The associate will have opportunities to cross-train and grow their skillset, working as part of a team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing goals. The company emphasizes quality, safety, and maintaining a clean, drug-free work environment.

Requirements

  • Experienced with using machines in a production environment
  • Good with hands, a problem solver, and takes pride in making sure you produce an amazing, finished product
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive warehouse environment
  • Ability to frequently lift glass that may weigh up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week plus optional overtime
  • Attention to detail and good time management skills
  • Complete and pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Complete and pass a fit-for-duty physical

Responsibilities

  • Place glass on bungees
  • Secure glass on racks
  • Pack A-frames and prepare racks for shipping
  • Keep up the cleanliness at the line, sweeping and clearing glass as necessary
  • Help other departments as needed
  • Perform tempering break test for quality assurance
  • Clean up broken glass - done throughout shift to maintain a safe work environment
  • Clean out space under the furnace - performed every 3 months
  • Ensure safety measures are taking place at all times
  • Keep a high rate of productivity
