We are seeking a GIS Analyst to join our team in Mineola, NY. This position is integral to our mission of building services and capabilities through the growth of our key asset—our staff. As a GIS Analyst, you will perform detailed business analysis to outline problems, opportunities, and solutions. You will develop and implement quality control and assurance guidelines for GIS projects, compile and integrate geographic data from various sources, and provide technical user support for all aspects of geospatial data and software. Your role will also involve developing and documenting functional specifications, coordinating testing and integration of development activities, and supporting the implementation and configuration of new and existing GIS systems that meet solution requirements. Collaboration with stakeholders is key to ensuring that project methods, approaches, and control standards are met, and you will communicate with senior managers to understand the goals and outcomes to be achieved through the application of technology.
