About The Position

Team EJP is looking for a new Smart Utility Professional - focusing on GIS Services and Leak Detection! Everett J. Prescott, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Smart Utility Professional to join our team out of our home office in Gardiner! The successful candidate will play a key role in collecting, analyzing, and maintaining GIS data while developing and updating asset and attribute information. This role will work extensively with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and GIS software to ensure GIS map accuracy and data integrity. As an Esri Silver business partner, EJP offers cutting-edge tools and technology, and this role will assist with GIS data management, tool creation, and integration to support the Smart Utility Professional group's offerings.

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 Products.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high accuracy in data handling.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
  • In-depth knowledge of Esri products such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Survey123, Field Maps, Experience Builder, and ArcGIS Hub.
  • Proficiency in Python or related coding languages.
  • Experience with HTML formatting and API integration for GIS systems.

Nice To Haves

  • High School / vocational / college degree or equivalent education and work experience preferred.
  • Prior experience at a fast paced, deadline driven environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide troubleshooting and client support via phone and email.
  • Collaborate with team members and customers to drive GIS-related initiatives.
  • Create, update, and maintain GIS asset and attribute data.
  • Manage GIS maps for both existing and new clients.
  • Collect, analyze, and manage GIS data using Esri software.
  • Implement GIS accounts and data systems for diverse projects.
  • Develop data collection tools using Survey123 and Field Maps.
  • Create data analysis and visualization tools using Experience Builder and ArcGIS Hub.
