The position is full-time and on-site at Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Butler in Okinawa, Japan. The GIS Analyst is responsible for specialized technical and analytical geospatial assistance that will support the maintenance of an Enterprise GIS. The candidate will support data development, SDSFIE standards integration, and quality verification processes. They will assist in maintaining geospatial data in an enterprise GIS implementation, aid in the maintenance of the geodatabase, and apply technical and programmatic knowledge of GIS. To perform the duties of the GIS Analyst successfully, the candidate must be: Qualities: Eager to learn new technology and integrate existing skills within a new industry. An above average communicator, comfortable with technical writing, as well as public speaking. Highly organized and able to maintain several projects at one time. Possess a desire to immerse yourself in location-based problem solving to support our client’s missions.
