About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: The role of the GIS Analyst is to manage our existing Enterprise GIS environment and provide GIS support to the company’s various departments, mining operations and business development.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience utilizing ArcGIS Desktop (Pro/ArcMap) and Server environments.
• Must possess a thorough understanding of the ESRI ArcGIS Suite and be able to use that knowledge to generate and organize GIS data.
• Experience using AutoCad, SQL Server

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Mapping Sciences, Geography or a related field is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, administrate, conceptualize, and advance our existing GIS system and web mapping.
• Build, update and maintain databases and GIS software and hardware.
• Provide GIS support to the company’s various departments, mining operations and business development.
• Facilitates archival of Company Records relating to our mining operations and business development.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the company’s various departments, staff, consultants, governmental agencies, and business development partners.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management staff.
• Update an ArcGIS Enterprise Portal environment with changes to datasets and web services.
• Use Web App Builder and Enterprise Builder to manage web environments.
• Use geodatabases to manage and replicate datasets
• Use SSMS to manage the backend of the SQL GIS environment.
• Use model builder to maintain existing workflows.
• Format popups in a web viewer.
• Integrate historic maps and documents into a digital environment
