The GIS Analyst will work in the GIS database inputting pipeline centerlines, attributes, and features from GPS and as-built drawings. This role involves inputting data into the GIS database, generating reports, executing data tools and analysis, assisting with risk analysis, and developing end-user efficient displays. The GIS Analyst will also be responsible for developing applications for data gathering and assisting in building the necessary functionality into the GIS system. Additionally, the analyst will aid in developing policies and procedures for maintaining accurate present-day and historical data. This position is crucial for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the GIS data that supports NorthWestern Energy's operations in Montana, South Dakota, and Nebraska.
