Are you looking for an opportunity to do meaningful work, support an important mission, and get hands-on experience working with an iconic brand? Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania (GSEP), a top ten Girl Scout Council in the country, is looking for a Girl Leadership Program Director to join the Mission Delivery team. At GSEP, staff members are committed to building girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Girl Scouts is the preeminent leadership development organization for girls. And with programs from coast to coast and across the globe, Girl Scouts offers every girl a chance to do something amazing. Here’s how you can help! The Girl Leadership Program Director oversees Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania’s (GSEP) leadership programming for girls in grades 6-12. This includes the Girl Scouts Highest Awards, Calling All Girl Bosses (CAGB), scholarships, girl recognitions and personal awards, and girl leadership roles at GSEP’s signature fundraising event, Take the Lead. This role also oversees the Bronze Award for girls in grades 4-5. The Director partners closely with council colleagues to coordinate additional opportunities for older girls, including governance roles and media/spokesperson experiences. The primary goal of this position is keeping middle and high school girls engaged in Girl Scouting by delivering meaningful, relevant, and empowering programs that demonstrate the value and impact of Girl Scouts in all of the communities GSEP serves. Reporting to the Chief Mission Delivery Officer, the Girl Leadership Program Director leads a small team, including the Calling All Girl Bosses Program Manager and the Manager of Girl Leadership and Highest Awards, and works closely with volunteers who support both CAGB and the Highest Awards. This position is responsible for setting clear goals and expectations, establishing timelines, and fostering a collaborative, positive team culture across staff and volunteers. This role is an excellent fit for a community-focused leader who thrives in collaborative settings, excels at managing multiple programs simultaneously, is committed to expanding equitable opportunities, and is inspired by our mission to help girls develop courage, confidence, and character to change the world.
