About The Position
Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Health in the gift shop. Hospital Gift Shop Fridays 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM We are looking for a friendly and dependable volunteer to serve in our hospital gift shop on Friday afternoons. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with others and wants to make a meaningful difference in a healthcare setting. Gift shop volunteers play an important role in brightening someone's day - whether it's helping a family member find the perfect gift or offering a kind smile during a hospital visit. If you are reliable, personable, and available Fridays from 12:30-4:00 PM, we would love to have you join our volunteer team!
Requirements
- Commitment of at least 6 months
- Ability to follow hospital health and immunization guidelines
- Dependable attendance on Fridays from 12:30-4:00 PM
- Ability to follow HIPAA guidelines
Responsibilities
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Operating the cash register
- Restocking merchandise and keeping displays organized
- Helping create a warm, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff
