Gift Shop Retail & Food Service
About The Position
Located just outside the west entrance of Glacier National Park, the Crown of the Continent Discovery Center features: a gift and gear shop, ice cream parlor with Sweet Peaks ice cream and Last Best Pizza & Bar. Discovery Center staff will help greet customers and ring up purchases, restock items, serve ice cream, make espresso drinks, pour alcoholic drinks, serve or prep food, and help with basic cleaning (bathrooms, vacuum, mop, dishes, etc.). This is a great entry level position to food service, customer service, or retail careers. Areas of experience or preference are great, but we do wish for staff to be willing to be cross-trained and able to assist in all of the Discover Center’s offerings. Staff are also expected to learn and communicate area information- as many of our patrons are tourists to the area.
Requirements
- Applicants should be friendly
- Self starters
- Physically capable of working on their feet all shift
- Able to lift 50 pounds
