About The Position
The Gift Shop Clerk will provide prompt and outstanding customer service, quality products and maintain a clean, comfortable environment in shop.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Performs job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to prioritize and organize, uses time efficiently.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Honesty and integrity.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to operate cash register and cash handling.
Nice To Haves
- One year of retail experience, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service: wait on customers, clean gift shop, organize department and stock entire store with new merchandise.
- Unpack shipments and categorize them appropriately.
- Greet customers when they enter and provide assistance.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
