About The Position

The Coffee Shop Attendant is responsible for greeting guests with a positive attitude, taking orders, preparing and delivering food and beverages, and maintaining a clean service area. This role ensures accuracy in cash handling, provides excellent customer service, and follows all health department regulations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a coffee shop, café, or food service environment is preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash transactions accurately.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a friendly and professional attitude, taking orders for food and beverages.
Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages in accordance with menu standards.
Maintain cleanliness of the coffee shop, including counters, tables, and service stations.
Process guest payments accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling cash and credit transactions.
Restock supplies, including food, beverages, and condiments, throughout the shift.
Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring the proper handling and preparation of food and beverages.
Communicate with guests to ensure their satisfaction and handle any special requests.
Assist in setting up and breaking down the coffee shop during opening and closing shifts.
