About The Position
The primary purpose of the Gift Shop Attendant is to provide guests with an excellent experience in the retail shops. The Gift Shop Attendant will be tasked with providing high-quality guest service through outstanding interpersonal relations, informing guests about available retail items for purchase and about amenities in the hotel and surrounding area. Responsibilities include marketing available gift shop items to guests, cleaning and disinfecting the Gift Shop, maintaining and refreshing merchandise and displays, capturing all sales according to company guidelines, and accounting for all cash and securing money drops according to company policy. The role also involves following all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
