University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) is dedicated to soliciting the private funding necessary to support the strategic goals of the University in teaching, learning, and research. The personnel of UDAR work university-wide as well as within individual schools and colleges of the University to discover, motivate, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, parents, faculty, and friends for immediate, long-range, and future financial support, through gifts and pledges to the University, for critical operations such as student aid, faculty support, academic and research program development, and facilities and infrastructure. UDAR's endeavors raise funds for immediate University use and also for the University's endowment. The Gift Agreement Manager serves as the primary point of contact for receiving, evaluating, and advising on gift agreements in support of NYU. Advise fundraising staff on gift agreement requirements and ensure compliance with NYU's Gift Acceptance Policy, CASE standards, and IRS guidelines. Make accurate decisions about accepting, processing, and tracking of new gift agreements to the University. Provide timely feedback to all NYU partners on submitted gift agreements. Communicate updates regarding gift processing and procedures to staff. Analyze, audit, and verify the data of the gift agreement as it is uploaded into the system. Partner with Advancement Services leadership to address and remediate any issues with submitted agreements. Analyze the grants processed in the system, and ensure that those grants which also qualify as charitable are properly recorded into the development system as it relates to IRS guidelines and NYU's Gift Acceptance Policy. Prepare scheduled and special reports, studies, and analysis; recommend approval or rejection of deviations from contract specifications. UDAR encourages work-life integration for our employees, therefore this position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.
