GI/Endoscopy Tech at Gastroenterology East, P.A. & Endoscopy Center: · The GI technician/Endoscopy functions under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with the operation of technical equipment used during simple and complex endoscopic procedures. · The physician, registered nurse and the GI technician work as a team in the procedure room to provide the optimal conditions in achieving positive patient outcomes. · The GI technician is also responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and maintaining endoscopes and other instrumentation. · Other GI technician responsibilities include facilitating patient flow, room turnover. Stocking procedure rooms, ordering supplies and performing a variety of clerical duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• BLS Certification Required

Nice To Haves

• Preferred two years' experience in endoscopy.
