This is a full time GI opening for St. Luke's North location, involving both inpatient and outpatient coverage. The Advanced Practice Provider will be accountable for advanced nursing practice in the care of assigned patient populations. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing client health data, identifying appropriate expected outcomes, developing and implementing plans of care, providing comprehensive clinical coordination of care and case management, and offering consultation to influence client care plans. The role also involves enhancing the abilities of others and effecting change in the system, using prescriptive authority for procedures and treatments in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations, evaluating client progress, conducting nursing research, providing education to patients, families, and nursing staff, and case managing high-risk patients. The position operates Monday-Friday, 5 days per week, with a 1 in 7-8 weekend rotation covering both North and South locations, and a holiday rotation. There is no after-hours call.
