About The Position

The Getty Marrow internship in LACMA’s Education and Public Programs department offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with Adult Public Programs, engaging diverse audiences through talks, workshops, and digital content. The intern will assist in developing and implementing programs, gain experience connecting with LACMA’s exhibitions, and contribute to materials and activities in the newly opened David Geffen Galleries. This is a paid 10-week full-time internship (40 hrs/wk) beginning in June 2026 with a working schedule of Monday–Friday at $18.50/hour.

Requirements

  • Excellent computer and communication skills required
  • Demonstrated curiosity or interest in art, culture, or museums is encouraged
  • Be currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate in either a bachelor’s degree program or an associate’s degree program. Students must have completed at least one semester or two quarters of college by June. Students who graduated the semester or quarter immediately before the internship begins are also eligible. (Students who are enrolled in a second BA or BS program are not eligible.)
  • Attend college in or be a permanent resident of LA County.
  • Be a United States citizen, permanent resident, or DACA status through the internship period.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively with others.
  • Availability to work occasional weekends is required.
