About The Position

Atlantic Health System, one of the largest integrated healthcare systems in New Jersey, is seeking a Geriatrician to join our growing practice at the Geriatric Assessment Center in Morristown and Post Acute Care facilities in Morris County. This is a great opportunity to join a cohesive team of 5 established providers, 2 APNs, and a social worker with a large patient census. This role offers an ideal work/life balance with a Monday-Friday schedule and limited at-home call. The ideal candidate for this outpatient opportunity should possess a profound passion for working with elderly patients and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to our community's seniors. Responsibilities include conducting cognitive assessments and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Along with seeing patients at the Geriatric Assessment Center, the Geriatrician will also support post-acute care at nearby skilled nursing facilities, providing a comprehensive approach to patient well-being. This role extends beyond clinical practice, offering opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and collaboration with fellows and the training of IM/FM residents.
