GNA - Part-Time - Day and Evening Shift Available
About The Position

We are currently hiring Part-Time Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNA) to join our Health Center team. Available Shifts: Choose the schedule that works best for you: • Day Shift: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM • Evening Shift: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM ✔ Full-Time opportunities ✔Shift differential for weekends ✔Alternating weekends required As a GNA, you will provide hands-on care and support to residents under the supervision of a nurse. Requirements
- Active GNA certification in Maryland
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassion for working with older adults
- Basic computer skills for documentation
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare or senior care experience preferred (not required)
- Experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Take vital signs and report changes in condition
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Provide meals, hydration, and feeding assistance
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Respond to call lights promptly
- Document care and communicate with nursing staff
