Turner Staffing Group is seeking motivated Geotechnicians / Core Technicians to support an active underground drilling and exploration program. This is a hands-on role working directly with geologists and drill teams, handling and processing drill core while contributing to critical exploration and resource development work. This is an excellent opportunity for both early-career candidates and experienced technicians , including students looking to gain real-world mining and exploration experience. Project Duration Short-Term: April – September 2026 (flexible; ideal for students) Long-Term: Ongoing (year-round underground drilling program) Schedule 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off (21 days on, 21 days off) Typical rotation start: Wednesday 11-hour shifts during rotation Fly-in/fly-out with camp accommodations provided Up to $1000 travel reimbursement per rotation Position Overview As part of the geology team, the Geotechnician is responsible for the handling, processing, and sampling of diamond drill core , working in both core shed and field environments. This role plays a critical part in maintaining data quality and supporting drilling operations. You will work closely with geologists, drill crews, and operations teams to ensure accurate sample collection, organization, and tracking while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
