About The Position

We are seeking a geotechnical/ geological engineering intern to join our consulting group based in Tucson, AZ. This job requires the applicant to be locally based in Tucson, AZ.
Office work will include:
Data reduction including stereographic, statistical, and geospatial analyses
Technical reporting and documentation of field work and analysis work
Laboratory testing, performing and assisting with soil and rock strength testing
Local Field Work (if applicable):
site characterization
geologic/geotechnical mapping,
geomechanical core logging

Requirements

• Actively pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in geology, geological engineering, geotechnical engineering or mining engineering.
• 0-5 years’ experience
• All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S
• This position is based in Tucson, AZ, and we are seeking candidates who are local to the Tucson area.
