WSB, Inc. is seeking Construction Materials Lab Technician with a strong knowledge of the industry and test procedures to join our team. A qualified candidate must be able to work as part of a team, be reliable, have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. WSB is a full-service engineering firm, with well-established offices located in Oklahoma. WSB works with numerous clients that include state agencies, city, county governments, and private organizations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer knowledge.
Able to prepare legible reports and documentation.
Attention to detail.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Prepare soil samples for testing according to applicable test procedures.
Perform laboratory tests according to specs and standards such as but not limited to Atterberg limits, gradation analyses, proctors, sulfates, HMAC testing, concrete compressive strength testing.
Record lab results.
Maintain a clean work environment, and keep lab tools and equipment organized and ready for tests.
Requires lifting and carrying materials and equipment up to 70 lbs.
Consult with supervisor on test assignments or other related issues.
Perform administrative duties such as filling up timesheets and expense reports.
