Demonstrate the ability to comprehend and translate engineering drawing content including field markups; have experience creating, editing, and plotting GIS-based maps and CAD drawings. The ideal candidate will have exposure to survey-grade GPS equipment, postprocessing, and data use. The ideal candidate would also be able to work well independently and within small groups to meet high volume targets; gracefully handle repeated work interruptions from and interactions with all levels of staff; have an extreme attention to detail. Have the ability to convey technical issues in a concise and well, thought-out manner. In addition, the candidate would currently possess or be able to obtain certifications in water distribution and/or transmission systems; be able to follow standard practices yet be observant enough to identify their shortcomings; and have the ability to learn new processes and tools quickly.
