About The Position

Due to ongoing growth in open pit operations, we are seeking a Geology Technician with open pit mining experience who is motivated and enjoys working as part of a dynamic team within a growing company. Reporting to the Geology Superintendent and working an 8/6, 7/7 roster, the role can be FIFO from Perth to Laverton, DIDO from Kalgoorlie or available for local residential. Requirements

Driver’s license (C Class, manual car) – essential
2+ years employment history as a Geology Technician or Pit Technician
Experience in working with different types and styles of deposits
Well-rounded technical and geology software skills

Responsibilities

Monitoring ore mining to maximise recovery and minimise dilution
Providing accurate records of ore mining activities
Conducting ore mark-ups and prepare areas for mining
Co-coordinating grade control activities
Grade control sampling
Assisting the mine geologists and production team with general duties as required
