About The Position

The Genetic Counselor for Oncology provides genetic counseling, test coordination, and follow-up for patients in the Piedmont Cancer Genetics Program. The incumbent supports referring providers & oncology team, provides cancer genetics education and outreach, and engages in genetics program activities.

Requirements

• Master’s degree Genetic Counseling or equivalent program from an ABGC or ABMG accredited training program Required
• 1 year Genetic counseling experience Required
• Work experience in oncology/cancer genetic counseling Preferred
• ABGC - American Board of Genetic Counseling
• Genetic Counselor License for the State of Georgia Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Epic and Progeny software Preferred
