Provides genetic counseling, test coordination, and follow-up for patients in the Piedmont Cancer Genetics Program. Supports referring providers and provides cancer genetics education and outreach.
Requirements
- Master’s degree Genetic Counseling or equivalent program from an ABGC or ABMG accredited training program Required
- Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling from an ABGC or ABMG accredited training program or an equivalent program approved by the ABGC or the ABMG Required
- 1 year Genetic counseling experience Required
- 4 years of genetic counseling experience Required
- ABGC - American Board of Genetic Counseling
- Genetic Counselor License for the State of Georgia Upon Hire Required
- Board Certification (or Board Eligible) in Genetic Counseling by the American Board of Genetic Counseling Required
- Active Genetic Counselor License (Full or Temporary) for the State of Georgia Required
Nice To Haves
- Work experience in oncology/cancer genetic counseling Preferred
- Experience with Epic and Progeny software Preferred

Responsibilities
- Provides genetic counseling, test coordination, and follow-up for patients in the Piedmont Cancer Genetics Program.
