Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location. Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in generator and electrical maintenance, with 2+ years preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair, including electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
- Basic understanding of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.
- Capacity to lift over 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks such as stooping, bending, and climbing.
- Willingness to drive long distances and work flexible hours, including overtime and emergency callouts.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and comply with OSHA standards.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, diagnose, and repair generator systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Conduct regular performance checks and maintenance, interpreting blueprints and design specifications for precise repair and installation.
- Install and test water and fuel supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring, and controls for proper operation.
- Respond promptly to power and generator alarms, maintaining 24/7 on-call readiness if necessary.
- Adhere to safety protocols, attending safety training sessions to mitigate potential hazards.
