Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of experience with generator and electrical maintenance; two or more years preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair; moderate computer skills.
  • Basic knowledge of FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.
  • Electrical experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds, stoop, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and stand for long periods.
  • Willingness to drive long distances and work flexible hours, including overtime and emergency callouts.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical.

  • Electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, diagnose, and repair generator issues; install or replace components and systems.
  • Conduct regular performance checks and maintenance on generators; interpret blueprints or design specifications.
  • Install fuel and water lines, pumps, electrical wiring, controls, and perform operational tests.
  • Promptly respond to Power/Generator alarms; be on call 24/7 if necessary.
  • Identify potential hazards; use safety equipment and practices; attend safety and training meetings.
