About The Position

We are hiring a Generator Technician Level 3 to support our San Antonio, Texas operations. This is a senior level role for technicians with extensive generator field experience.
Candidates must have 5-10 years of hands-on generator experience. This position is not entry level and is not intended for technicians without direct generator industry experience.

Requirements

• Five to ten years of generator technician experience
• Strong mechanical and electrical generator knowledge
• Proven troubleshooting and repair ability
• High school diploma or GED
• Clear driving record
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage deadlines, travel frequently, and work in demanding environments

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service, and repair generator systems
• Perform inspections, maintenance, and load bank testing
• Troubleshoot engines, alternators, wiring, switches, and batteries
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures and perform corrective repairs
• Complete field service calls, startups, and emergency repairs
• Accurately document service work and paperwork
• Participate in an on-call rotation
• Work directly with customers in a professional manner
