Job Responsibilities: Purpose of position: Supports all Human Resources programs such as Staffing and Recruitment, payroll support, compensation and benefits, employee or labor relations, performance management, training and development. Responds to employee inquiries regarding Human Resource policies and procedures. Identifies and/or resolves potential grievances. Counsel's employees on work-related and personal issues. Responsibility: HR Generalist with proven experience in Workday, ADP, and Dayforce to manage core HR functions, ensure accurate payroll processing, and lead HR-related projects. This role blends operational excellence with strategic project execution, including HRIS implementation and optimization, to enhance HR processes and employee engagement.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (2-year) or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of HR generalist experience with hands-on payroll processing in Dayforce and/or ADP.
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday for HR data management, reporting, and system implementation.
  • Proven track record in managing HR-related projects from initiation to completion.
  • Solid understanding of employment laws, payroll regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus.
  • Experience in process improvement, change management, or multi-system HRIS environments.

Responsibilities

  • Administer end-to-end payroll using ADP / Dayforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
  • Maintain payroll records, process adjustments, and collaborate with Finance for reconciliations.
  • Manage and optimize HR processes within Workday, including employee data management, reporting, workflows, and system implementation or upgrades.
  • Support ADP and Dayforce system enhancements and integrations with HR processes.
  • Lead HR projects such as HRIS rollouts, policy updates, onboarding improvements, and engagement initiatives.
  • Support recruitment efforts, from job postings to candidate selection.
  • Administer benefits programs and assist with open enrollment and employee inquiries.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and compliance matters.
  • Prepare HR reports and analytics using Workday, ADP, and other tools for leadership review.
