About The Position

Under the direct supervision of Management and/or a Control Room Operator, the General Utility will perform essential and physically demanding tasks to support plant operations, including: Filling coal bunkers Lubricating conveyor systems Maintaining the dust collection system Performing general housekeeping duties in the bunker room Making periodic equipment inspections to ensure proper operation and lubrication This position involves working in confined spaces, at high elevations, and in a variety of weather and environmental conditions. The role requires a commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous learning.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum one year of mechanical or electrical experience
• To be considered for this position, all applicants must complete a pre-employment test administered by a third-party testing agency.
• Testing is a mandatory step in the selection process, and only applicants who are recommended based on their test results will be eligible for an interview.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed
• 12-hour rotating shift Includes nights, weekends, and holidays
