About The Position
Seeking a General Trades Technician to perform maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years' experience in building repairs and maintenance.
- General knowledge of maintenance tradesâ¯(electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and/or general building maintenance)
- Valid driver's license required.
Nice To Haves
- Skills Trade Certification preferred.
- Experience with CMMS and computer proficiency preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair work in electrical, air conditioning, water heaters, plumbing and other building maintenance areas.
- Respond to service requests for various maintenance tasks including electrical, furnaces, lighting, HVAC systems, appliances, pipe systems and plumbing, etc.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance to plant equipment or building automation systems and any components of the facility's systems.
- Assist with emergency maintenance situations.
- Always follow safety procedures.
