About The Position
Full time general surgery position with a broad based bread and butter case mix Perform a wide range of surgical procedures including abdominal breast and endocrine cases Utilize minimally invasive and laparoscopic techniques in a modern surgical setting Opportunity to incorporate robotic surgery with advanced technology available Collaborate with an established team of surgeons and advanced practice providers Access to onsite imaging including ultrasound and breast imaging services Limited trauma exposure with no bariatric surgery required Option to add endoscopic procedures based on surgeon preference
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Active Illinois medical license or ability to obtain
- Strong experience in laparoscopic surgery required
- Robotics experience or interest strongly preferred
- Interest in breast surgery or non cardiac thoracic procedures a plus
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
