About The Position

Inova Surgery Service Line is looking for a dedicated General Surgeon for the
Western Region to join the team. This is a full-time position, inclusive of the
below scope:

Elective surgery & coverage at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital
Elective surgery at Inova Loudoun Hospital
2 outpatient clinic locations
Elective surgery at Inova’s Ambulatory Surgery Centers.

Both hospitals and clinics are supported by a robust team of Advanced Practice
Providers to provide timely consultation and continuity of care for our
patients.

Colorectal surgery

Robotic-assisted surgery
Skin Conditions

Requirements

• Work schedule: Monday Thru Friday with Call
• Education: An MD or DO from an accredited university medical school, Completed ACGME residency training and subsequent fellowship, Board eligible or board certified in General Surgery.
• Preferred Experience:  One year of general surgery experience
• Licensure: Current or eligibility for an unrestricted Virginia state medical license and DEA

• Expertise in establishing physician relationships combined with the ability to manage an interdisciplinary team while appreciating and fostering peer participation from all disciplines.

• Strong interests with Robotics, education, research, and public health are a must.
