Call Schedule: 24 -hr call; 7a -7a Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time: Less than 30 mins Phone Consults: 1 -15 Patient Volume: 1 -5 Patient Demographics: Adult, Pediatric & Trauma Admissions: 1 -2 Rounding Included: Yes Required Procedures: - General Surg: Adult, Pediatric & Trauma - Laparoscopic Surgery: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy & Hernioplasty. - Chest wall/pleural procedures - GI endoscopy: Upper & Lower, Sigmoidoscopy & Colonoscopy. - Chest tube & Central line insertions, PA Catheter placement, Vascular access devices - Pediatric Surg: Artesias (Intestinal & Biliary), Umbilical defects (Hernia), Diaphragmatic hernia, Imperforate anus & PDA ligation No. of Beds: 162 Trauma Level: III EMR: Cerner Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Travel, lodging and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: Active NM License BC/BE NM controlled substance license DEA BLS, ACLS, ATLS Patient Compensation Fund enrollment
